Biography

Dr. Kaye is a California Licensed Pharmacist and Clinical Professor of Pharmacy, Department of Pharmacy Practice at the University of the Pacific’s Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy. Dr. Adam Marc Kaye has also been employed by a national pharmacy chain since 1992.
Dr. Kaye serves on the editorial staff of several National Drug Therapy Newsletters and has published numerous articles on Anticoagulation, Herbal Medications, Psychiatric Medications, along with many other topics with an emphasis on therapeutics and adverse effects of medications involving the Central Nervous System (CNS), Opioids and Pain Management, Insomnia, Skeletal Muscle Relaxants and Anti-spasticity Agents. He is currently the Pharmacology Section Editor for Pain Physician, the official publication of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP)..His expertise includes: retail pharmacy, OTC Therapeutics, Dietary Supplements and Clinical Pharmacology. Dr. Kaye has been the co-author of Ident-A-Drug for over a decade.
A book that he has co-edited and co-authored “Essentials of Pharmacology for Anesthesia, Pain Medicine, and Critical Care with Black Box Warnings” is being published by Springer.
In 1998, he won the Distinguished Young Pharmacist of the Year for the California Pharmacist Association.
