Dr Vijay Kumar Prajapati received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Master of Science in Biochemistry from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He completed his PhD in 2011 from Department of Medicine, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, India. His PhD research work was focused on the development of nanotherapy for the fatal disease visceral leishmaniasis. He has been awarded for one of the prestigious award Ranbaxy Science Scholar-2011 for young scientist in the field of pharmaceutical sciences from Ranbaxy Science Foundation, Gurgaon, India. His research expertise includes parasitology, immunology and molecular biology. He has published several research articles on infectious disease problem in international journals of high repute and presented his research work at international meetings.
Dr Prajapati research focuses on Infectious diseases, Nanomedicine, Drug development and drug resistance.
