Dr. Saeed Ahmed is currently a resident physician in the Department of Psychiatry at Nassau University Medical Center, NY. He has worked as clinical research fellow at various places in the field of Psychiatry i-e Maryland Psychiatric Research Center, Institute for Social and Psychiatric Initiatives— Research, Education and Services (InSPIRES) at NYU, Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. His professional activities have focused on public social psychiatry, health care policy, health disparities, mental health stigma, mental health of minorities in the United States. Dr. Ahmed is a member of the American Psychiatric Association, American Society of Clinical Psychopharmacology, and the American Association for Social Psychiatry and American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry.
