Biography

Oana Alexandra David (Gaviţa) is Senior Assistant Professor at Babes-Bolyai University, Department ofClinical Psychologyand Psychotherapy and the Executive Director of the International Coaching Institute. She received her Ph.D. from Babes-Bolyai University with the thesis Evidence-based parenting programs for reducing child disruptive behavior. She has completed internships and research fellowship programs in the field of cognitive-behavioral psychotherapyat Albert Ellis Institute, NY, USA; King’s College London, and brain imaging at Harvard Medical School, Childrens Hospital Boston.

Research Interest

emotion-regulation strategies used by parents, parent programs based on innovative technologies for the treatment of child psychopathology, and parenting coaching delivered in workplace settings.
