Dr. Kosiborod received his medical degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY. He trained in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital (New Haven, CT) and completed fellowship in cardiovascular disease and echocardiography at Yale University School of Medicine. He is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and adult echocardiography. Dr. Kosiborod’s clinical interests include general cardiology, adult echocardiography and international health. In addition to being a clinical cardiologist, he is actively engaged in clinical research and is the principal investigator of many clinical studies. Dr. Kosiborod is actively engaged in the work of the American Heart Association and the American College of Cardiology.
