R Scott Shaddy

Biography
R. Scott Shaddy, DDS is an Associate Professor of General Dentistry at the Creighton University School of Dentistry. He earned his DDS degree from Creighton University in 1988, and joined the faculty as a full-time member in 1996. His focus of teaching is Operative Dentistry, both didactically and clinically. He led the effort in the establishment of the Esthetics Dental curriculum for senior dental students, and now shares administrative responsibilities of the program as a co-director. Dr. Shaddy has been in private practice for 25 years, and continues to maintain a part-time practice in conjunction with teaching and research. Dr. Shaddy’s experience of reviewing articles for publication extends to the Journal of the American Dental Education Association.
Research Interest
Dr. Shaddy’s research interests include the physical properties and clinical application of dental adhesives, dental composite resins, and indirect esthetic restorative materials.
