Dr. John Michael Petitto is Co-Vice Chair for Research at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Florida, Gainesville, USA. He is a Professor at Departments of Psychiatry, Neuroscience and Pharmacology & Therapeutics in McKnight Brain Institute. He has completed his MD from University of North Carolina in 1987. He also did his post doc work at National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK), (NIH) focusing on Neuroimmunology. He is a member of many scientific societies.
