Dr. Jennifer C. Dalton completed her doctoral studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012. Currently, she is an Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. She has first worked as an Adjunct Instructor during 2010-2011 and was then hired full-time as an Assistant Professor.
Her research interests include speech sound development and disorders in children, as well as the interaction of speech perception ability and motor speech development as they relate to phonological awareness over the lifespan.
