Georgetown University Medical Center
Dr.HENG-HONG LI received my Ph.D. degree in Toxicology at University of California, Riverside in 2004. He currently work as Research Assistant Professor at Georgetown University Medical Center (GUMC). He was the leader of the genomics team under Molecular Cancer Research Chair Initiative. The lab is one of the pioneering groups in applying genomics approaches in molecular toxicology research. He have been continuously collaborating with industry and government agencies to develop the innovative high-throughput assays evaluating compounds’ safety. He was invited to the High Throughput Transcriptomics Workshop for Tox21 Phase III project to discuss the nomination and prioritization of environmental responsive genes in screening large numbers of substances utilizing toxicogenomic technologies. He was the solo contributor of a chapter titled “Genomic Biomarkers in Cell-based Drug Screening” in the book “Toxicogenomics in Predictive Carcinogenicity”, which will be published by Royal Society of Chemistry soon. His research focuses on Molecular Toxicology, Cancer Biology, transcriptomics and metabolomics.
