Dr. Naik earned his MD in Internal Medicine and PhD and MSPH in Epidemiology, and is board certified by American Board Medical Specialties in Internal Medicine. He has been working in the field of HIV/AIDS and infectious diseases for the last 20 years. He is the founder and director of the USF-India Center for HIV/AIDS Research and Training Center, and an Associate Professor in Global Health, Infectious Diseases and International Medicine at USF. He has several research publications, presentations at international meetings, and served on the editorial boards.
